why?

People queuing at the checkout, idling at the traffic lights, sitting next to you at the movies: most of the time we hardly notice them. They’re unremarkable, routine ... ordinary. Or that’s how they seem. But there are things we can’t know from the outside; the stories of people’s lives that we could never fathom, just by looking at them.

But what if they told you?

Journalist and author, Marianne Thamm, discovers some of those hidden stories. She finds out what goes on behind the closed, everyday doors. She speaks to people in their homes, their cars, their bars – wherever they’d usually be found. She asks questions, tackles issue and peels back some of those ordinary layers to reveal the extraordinary lives underneath. She gets them to talk …in the First Person.
